Terms of Service
Last updated: July 20261. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using M00N Report ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms are a binding agreement between you and M00N Report LLC ("M00N Report", "we", "us"), the operator of m00nreport.com. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
M00N Report is a test reporting and analytics platform that provides real-time test result streaming, test case management, and quality metrics tracking for software development teams. The Service includes but is not limited to:
- Test Reporting & Analytics - real-time test result streaming, historical trend analysis, and quality metrics dashboards
- Test Case Management - creation, organization, and tracking of manual and automated test cases with folder and tag hierarchies
- Artifact Storage - upload and retrieval of test artifacts including screenshots (PNG/JPEG), videos (WebM/MP4), Playwright trace files, logs, and other files via S3-compatible object storage
- API & Ingest Capabilities - RESTful API for managing test data and a dedicated ingest service for programmatically submitting test results and artifacts from CI/CD pipelines
- Real-Time Streaming - live test run progress updates delivered via Redis Streams to connected dashboard clients
- Third-Party Integrations - optional integrations with Atlassian Jira for defect tracking and issue linking, social login providers (Google), and SSO identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, Auth0, custom OIDC)
- Release Management - tracking of releases and their associated test runs to measure quality across software versions
- Notifications - configurable notifications via email (SMTP), Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Telegram, and custom webhooks
The Service also includes companion components: an Atlassian Marketplace app (which is additionally subject to the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use) and published open reporter and MCP packages (which are licensed under their own published licenses); these Terms govern their use of the Service's APIs. The Service may also include AI-assisted features, some of which are offered as beta features (see Section 9).
3. User Accounts
The Service is intended for business use. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use the Service. If you accept these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization. The organization is responsible for all users under its account, including their compliance with these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Account credentials are personal to each user and may not be shared. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the rights of others
- Transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law
- Resell, rent, or provide the Service to third parties as a hosted offering
- Access the Service in order to build a competing product or service
5. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.
User Responsibility for Uploaded Content. You acknowledge that test artifacts uploaded to the Service - including screenshots, videos, trace files, and logs - may contain personally identifiable information (PII) or other sensitive data from the applications you are testing. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content uploaded to the Service complies with applicable privacy laws, your organization's data policies, and the privacy rights of any individuals whose data may appear in such artifacts.
Third-Party Integration Responsibility. When you or your organization's administrator enables third-party integrations (such as Jira, social login, SSO, or notification webhooks), data may be shared with those third-party services. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you choose to integrate with M00N Report.
6. Third-Party Integrations
The Service offers optional integrations with third-party platforms. By enabling any integration, you agree to the following:
Jira / Atlassian. The Jira integration is optional and must be enabled by an organization administrator. When enabled, test details, error messages, and links may be sent to Atlassian's servers to create or link Jira issues. M00N Report is not responsible for Atlassian's data handling practices. The Jira integration is governed by Atlassian's Privacy Policy and Atlassian's Cloud Terms of Service. Integration can be revoked at any time by an organization administrator. Upon disconnection, OAuth tokens are revoked and deleted; cached issue links and site metadata are retained to support reconnection unless you choose full removal, which permanently deletes all cached Jira data from M00N Report.
Social Login. The Service supports authentication via social login providers including Google (and future providers such as GitHub and Microsoft). When you authenticate via a social login provider, we receive limited profile information (email, name, avatar URL) as authorized by you during the OAuth consent flow. Social login is governed by the respective provider's terms of service and privacy policy.
SSO / Single Sign-On. Organizations may configure SSO authentication via OIDC or SAML with identity providers such as Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, Auth0, or a custom OIDC provider. SSO configuration is managed by your organization's administrator. Authentication data flows between the Service and your identity provider are governed by your organization's agreement with that provider.
Notification Services. The Service can deliver notifications to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Telegram, custom webhook endpoints, and via SMTP email. Notification content (such as test run summaries) is sent to the endpoints configured by your organization. M00N Report is not responsible for the data handling practices of these third-party messaging platforms.
You must comply with the terms of service of any third-party platform you integrate with M00N Report. M00N Report makes no warranties regarding the availability, security, or data practices of third-party services.
7. User Content and Artifacts
Ownership. You retain full ownership of all test data, test cases, test results, and artifacts that you upload to or create within the Service. M00N Report does not claim ownership of your content.
License Grant. By uploading content to the Service, you grant M00N Report a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license does not include the right to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models on your content. This license terminates when you delete your content or your account.
Content Responsibility. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content - including test artifacts such as screenshots, videos, trace files, and logs - does not contain unauthorized sensitive or personally identifiable information. M00N Report does not scan or review the content of uploaded artifacts.
Data Retention. Test data and artifact retention periods follow the limits defined by your subscription plan: 30 days on the Free plan and up to 365 days on paid plans, depending on the plan. You may delete artifacts at any time. We recommend regularly reviewing and removing artifacts that are no longer needed.
Account Deletion. Upon deletion of your account or organization, all associated test data, test cases, and artifacts are removed from our active systems within 30 days. Residual copies held in encrypted backups expire on our standard backup rotation schedule.
Post-Cancellation Deletion. If your subscription is canceled or lapses, your workspace data is retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted. During this period we will send at least two email notices to the organization owner (around day 60 and day 75) before deletion. Inactive free workspaces may also be deleted after notice. You authorize these deletions; deleted data cannot be recovered.
8. API and Ingest Usage
API Key Confidentiality. API keys issued for your organization provide authenticated access to the ingest service and API endpoints. You are solely responsible for keeping your API keys confidential and secure. Any activity performed using your API keys is attributed to your organization.
Rate Limits and Fair Use. The Service enforces rate limits on API and ingest endpoints to ensure fair usage and platform stability. You agree not to circumvent or attempt to bypass rate limits. Excessive or abusive usage may result in temporary or permanent restriction of API access.
Ingest Service. The ingest service accepts test results and artifacts via authenticated API requests. Test data submitted through the ingest service (including from CI/CD pipelines and automated test frameworks) is subject to the same terms, conditions, and data policies as data submitted through the web interface.
Automated Submissions. Automated submissions from CI/CD pipelines, test runners, and other tools are treated identically to manual submissions. You are responsible for the content and volume of all automated submissions made using your organization's API keys.
9. AI and Beta Features
AI Features. The Service may include features that generate content or perform actions using machine-learning models, such as test case suggestions, health analyses, and AI-assisted test execution. Output produced by these features may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purposes. AI features are provided for assistance only and do not constitute professional advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it or executing it. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we assign to you any rights we hold in AI output generated for you. You are responsible for ensuring that the inputs you provide to AI features do not infringe the rights of third parties.
Beta Features. Features marked as beta, preview, or experimental are provided as-is, may be changed or withdrawn at any time, and are excluded from any support expectations.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by M00N Report and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
11. Subscription and Billing
Plans and Renewal. Paid subscription plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods of the same length until canceled. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. Enterprise invoice billing is available by arrangement.
Seat Billing. You are billed for the highest number of active users in your organization during a billing period. Annual plans renew at the greater of your committed seat count and your current number of active users (a "true-up").
Free Trials. Paid plans may start with a free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial and the payment method on file is charged.
Taxes. Fees are exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for all applicable taxes, levies, and duties, excluding taxes based on our income.
Price Changes. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal.
Failed Payments. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and, after a grace period, downgrade your plan, suspend your access, or place your workspace in read-only mode until payment is made.
Refunds. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused seats, and downgrades. Any refund we choose to grant is a one-time accommodation and does not waive this provision.
12. Self-Hosted Edition
License. Subject to an active self-hosted subscription and a valid license key, M00N Report grants your organization a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and run the self-hosted software on infrastructure your organization controls, for its internal business purposes, for the number of licensed users.
Restrictions. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the self-hosted software, host it publicly for third parties, or remove or circumvent its license enforcement mechanisms.
Updates and Support. Updates are provided as released, and we have no obligation to maintain any particular version. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis.
License Validation. The self-hosted software periodically contacts our license server to validate the subscription. This transmits the license token, an instance identifier, the hostname, the application version, and the active user count. No test data leaves your infrastructure.
Applicable Terms. Sections 10 (Intellectual Property), 15 (Warranty Disclaimer), 16 (Limitation of Liability), and 17 (Indemnification) apply to the self-hosted software.
Expiry. Upon expiry or termination of the self-hosted license, your right to run the software ceases, except that you may continue to access it in read-only mode for 30 days solely to export your data.
13. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and no service level agreement is offered. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will provide at least 30 days notice and the ability to export your data before discontinuation.
14. Termination
You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting your organization. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms: immediately in cases of security abuse, non-payment, or unlawful use, and otherwise after notice and a 14-day opportunity to cure. We may also terminate for convenience on 30 days notice.
For 30 days after termination (except termination for unlawful use), your data remains available for export in a machine-readable format, after which Section 7 (User Content and Artifacts) applies.
15. Warranty Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM US CREATES ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, M00N Report shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100) IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING. THESE EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY AND EVEN IF A REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
17. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify M00N Report against any third-party claim arising from (a) your content, (b) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, or (c) disputes between you and your users, and you will pay the resulting damages and reasonable costs.
18. Feedback and Publicity
Feedback. If you send us feedback or suggestions about the Service, we may use them without restriction or compensation.
Publicity. We may identify your organization by name and logo as a customer of M00N Report in our marketing materials. You may opt out at any time by contacting support@m00nreport.com.
19. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service, and material changes take effect no earlier than 14 days after notice. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
20. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The state and federal courts located in Sacramento County, California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, and each party waives any objection to that venue.
21. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the policies referenced in them, constitute the entire agreement between you and M00N Report regarding the Service and supersede all prior discussions and agreements.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Force Majeure. Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Survival. Sections concerning intellectual property, payment obligations, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination of these Terms.
Export and Sanctions. You represent that you are not subject to sanctions and agree to comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws in your use of the Service.
